Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ResumeForge is operated by ResumeForge, a sole proprietorship based at Address not configured — set NEXT_PUBLIC_BUSINESS_ADDRESS, India. You can reach us at support@example.com.

2. Your account

You need an account to save your work. You must give a valid email address, keep your password confidential, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. What the service does

ResumeForge helps you write, format, preview and download resumes and cover letters, and offers AI-assisted drafting. Writing and previewing are free. Downloading and some AI limits are unlocked by a paid plan as described on our pricing page.

4. Your content is yours

You keep all rights to the text, images and documents you put into ResumeForge. You grant us only the limited permission we need to store, process and render your content so the service can work for you. We do not sell your resume data and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. AI-generated text

AI suggestions are drafts, not facts. They can be inaccurate, generic, or subtly wrong about your history. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting everything before you send it to an employer. Do not use ResumeForge to create a resume containing qualifications, employment or credentials you do not actually have.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create fraudulent or deliberately false documents.
• Share, resell or automate access to your account, or attempt to bypass the download paywall.
• Scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or attack the service or its infrastructure.
• Upload unlawful content or content you have no right to use.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will tell you first.

7. Payments

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are the full amount you pay — there are no additional fees added at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your full card details. All plans are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. No guarantee of employment

ResumeForge is a document tool. We do not promise interviews, job offers, salary outcomes, or that any specific applicant tracking system will parse or rank your resume in a particular way. Any templates described as “ATS-friendly” are built using clean, standard document structure — that improves the odds, it does not guarantee a result.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, pause or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have an active plan for, we will refund the unused portion.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the update.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
